Blackspot (who have been nicknamed "the anti-brand shoe") are made totally from environmentally friendly materials, including recycled tires for the soles, hemp and vegan leather. Designed by Canadian
John Fluevog, each pair also comes with a handpainted red dot on the right toe that is actually described as being for kicking corporate ass, and (I believe) an individual message from the company, pictured somewhere below. Interestingly, they're all made in Pakistan at a revolutionary free trade factory. It's a pretty cool idea, but I'm not sure I'm totally sold on the shoes. The shoe pictured here is called 'The Unswoosher'. Thoughts?
